A borrowed and marked half-dollar represents the comic character Jiggs.
A wooden coin slide is used for his home and a nifty two-door box represents a saloon called Dinty Moore's.
Jiggs leaves home and goes to Dinty Moore's... of course his wife Maggie follows but fails to find him.
Each time she opens a door to the saloon, she hears someone (the coin) moving from side to side.
Finally she opens both doors and Jiggs (the coin) has vanished.
She returns home to find him reclining in his favorite chair !(marked coin now found back in the coin slide).
This is a classic sucker routine with all the elements of comedy and mystery.
