Set a wine glass on the table, and borrow a finger ring from any spectator.


Put the ring in the folds of a hanky and give it to the spectator to hold over the mouth of the glass. They can feel the ring through the hanky and are told to hold onto it tight.


Introduce a wooden box that is padlocked that has been sitting to the side.


The spectator drops the ring into the glass everyone around can hearit hit the inside of the glass!



Immediately the magician pulls away the hanky, the ring has vanished from the glass!


The spectator opens the padlocked box with a key.


Their ring magically appears inside!
